I replaced the conti ultra sports 700x23 with ultra gatorskins 700x25 on my bike. The ultra sports may be great racing tires but they have the puncture resistance of wet kleenex. The first 50 miles on the gatorskins felt great! I did not notice a significant difference in rolling resistance and on my usual loop I averaged 18.42 mph which is right were I ride consistently - around 18.5 on this loop. They felt firm and very sure. I liked not having to worry about flatting out every 30 minutes (ok - that is an exaggeration but on the ultras I had 5 flats in about 500 miles). I have gatorskins on my commuter and have about 2000 miles without a flat. All around these are great tires! In our area in California, budget cuts are keeping the roads from being well maintained and the interval between street cleaning keeps getting longer, so a durable tire is a must for daily riding. This is the best tire I've found for the balance of extreme durability, reasonable cost, and low rolling resistance. I used to use Specialized Armadillos and switched to the Conti Gatorskins and haven't looked back.As another reviewer noted, the description isn't very clear, but I did figure out which one this was and didn't want the foldable bead. And this tire is indeed on Continental's website: [...]. This is the first one in the table.
