This is a nice rack (always like saying that!) but the stays (legs) are too short to fit my bike - a Giant Cypress DX hybrid with 700mm tires. I ordered 2 of these, one black for my daughter's 26" Schwinn, and one silver for my Giant.The rack is very lightweight but very strong, and it looks nice on the 26" bike, but because the stays are about 1" too short, it hits the tire on the 700cm bike. The stay length is advertised as 354mm, but it's more like 348mm to the bottom of the rack - it's simply too short to fit a 700mm diameter tire. If you have a 26" bike, I can recommend this rack without hesitation, but it's too short to clear larger tires. It is very light and is rated to hold 40kg/88lbs. This is significantly better than what I found at Dick's which was very heavy and mounted to the seat-post, didn't hold nearly as much weight, and was more expensive. They only sell the seat-post mounted racks at Dick's, I assume because the installation can be slightly tricky for this type.You'll notice the mounting brackets in the picture.. check to see if your bike has holes for all four screws.
