Product Description
Continental 0111350 City Ride 26 x 1-3/8 Urban Tire is fast and tough, built for the demands of the city. Cycling through the city comfortably and safely is what the leisure commuter demands. Due to its inverted tread design it has a great contact patch to the road and low rolling resistance, which means a faster ride. Additional grooves on the tread draw water away and deliver true handling and short breaking distances in wet conditions. A new Rubber Breaker strip under the tread protects from punctures. The City Ride can be fitted to all Hybrid and MTB bikes. Specs: Weight - 600 grams; Recommended PSI - 58; Maximum PSI - 70; PU - 10.

Continental City Ride Urban Bicycle Tire (26x1 3/8) Reviews
6 of 6 people found the following review helpful A nice ride, By This review is from: Continental City Ride Cross/Hybrid Bicycle Tire - Wire Bead (Misc.) I have two sets of these for two different bikes: 47-559 (26 x 1.75 "mountain bike") and 32-622 (32 mm wide on a 700c rim.) They always seem to be the best option at my local bike shop which is why I have so many of them, for me at least. For their size and width they roll very efficiently. From a reliability point of view (very important) a I just haven't ever had a flat with these at all. Tread design: a nice smooth rolling surface in the center, with visible tread "features" on the sides. Those tread features growl when the bike is banked in a tight turn, but otherwise don't interfere with efficient rolling for about 99% of my cycling miles. A nice ride... 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful Nice tire., This review is from: Continental City Ride Cross/Hybrid Bicycle Tire - Wire Bead (Misc.) I purchased these tires to replace some Kenda Komfort 26x2.25 that came on my K2 Easy Street and I couldn't be happier. Riding is no longer like riding in sand. I run them at 60 psi. The ride is marginally harder but not enough to complain. I would recommend these tires to anyone looking to refit a comfort bike or mountain bike forstreet use. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful This tire rolls fast I'm not worried about punctures, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Continental City Ride Cross/Hybrid Bicycle Tire - Wire Bead (Sports) I have this tire on the front with a Continental Sport Contact (26x1.6) in the rear. This combination rolls fast as my speedometer shows that I'm averaging 15-20mph on a mountain bike regardless of wind. I've had experience with some models of Ritchey semi-slicks, Michelins and of course Continentals. I like the Michelins, but I love the Continentals. I've seen how the Ritchey picked up every particle I rolled over while the Continentals pushed everything aside, so I'm confident about it's puncture resistance while rolling through the city.Amazon packed this one tire in a box for a full bicycle. I went to the shipping dock at work to pick it up and was shocked to see such a huge box. I wondered if I had ordered anything else and forgotten. Those guys that packed this tire probably had a good laugh about this one. |
